Originally started as a feed store in the 1950’s, Nankin soon grew into a full service hardware store.  It wasn’t till the 1970’s that Nankin wandered into the hobby world.  Since then Nankin Hobby has had a fully stocked hobby store specializing in R/C Cars, R/C Planes, R/C Helicopters, R/C Boats, Slot cars, Plastic Models, and HO,N, & O scale trains. 

In 2008 Nankin Hobby opened a second store in a 6500 sq/ft building in Farmington, MI.  Nankin Hobby has continued to be a bright spot in the community by offering customers a constructive form of entertainment and the service to keep them playing. 

Nankinhobby.com continues to pass on the customer service that has kept Nankin Hobby in business and allowed the business to grow over the last 40 years.  It’s a professional full service website with a local hobby store feel.
